Community Investment
MPBC invests in our community by being involved in annual events within and outside the walls of our church. Join us in one of the local awareness walks, or by participating in our annual Saturday or Service.
Saturday of Service (SOS)
SOS is a church wide day of community service in which the entire church joins hands and works on various projects in our community. Morning and afternoon work sessions are available with a fellowship lunch for all! SOS 2011was October 22nd.

CROP Walk
This 10K walk through uptown Charlotte raises money for hunger relief in Charlotte and around the world. MPBC walkers join thousands of others to support local and global agencies that combat hunger. CROP Walk 2011 was October 16th.

AIDS WALK
AIDS WALK Charlotte is the largest HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event in the Carolinas. A two mile walk though Charlotte’s Historic Fourth Ward is in memory and honor of those who have been impacted by HIV/AIDS. AIDS walk 2012 is May 5th.

STOP HUNGER NOW
Join us as we journey together during the Lenten season with our 3rd annual meal packaging event in partnership with STOP HUNGER NOW. We ask everyone to pledge their time and financial resources to support our international meal packing event. Our STOP HUNGER NOW 2012 meal packaging event was Wednesday, March 28th.
