The Reverend Gary Hudson, Pastoral Associate

There are many levels of congregational care at Myers Park Baptist Care, including many contacts from staff, prayers from the Thursday morning prayer group, care to members from Sunday School classes, fellowship groups, choirs, youth fellowship and more. Members in hospitals are visited by ministerial staff. Gary Hudson conducts Bible study monthly for members who are residents at Southminster Retirement Community.

In addition, we recently began a new level of care with our Congregational Care Ministry Program. Through this, every member of the congregation is contacted on their birthday and on the anniversary date of their joining. While Gary Hudson oversees this program, it is lay driven with more than 60 members of the congregation making the calls.
